The IGNrando’ application is developed and operated by the company SAS Ubicarta (“Ubicarta”).

This Privacy Policy applies to the following services operated by Ubicarta (“the Service”):

  • ubicarta.com and any other website owned and/or operated by Ubicarta containing a link to this Privacy Policy
  • The IGNrando’ mobile application (“the app”)

1. Information We Collect and How We Use It

When you contact us or interact with our Service, we collect information that, alone or in combination with other information, may be used to identify you (“Personal Data”) as follows:

Connection Data

Information that your device automatically sends to the IGNrando’ application every time you use the app. This data is stored on your device to facilitate connection to the services of the website https://ignrando.fr. If you contact us, we may keep a record of this correspondence.

Geolocation Data

If you have enabled location services for the app, we may collect precise information about your location, including city, state, postal code, country, latitude, and longitude. Geolocation Data is used to guide you to nearby trails and parks and to provide other relevant content and services.

By default, the routes recorded through your device’s positioning system (via the “Save a Route” feature) are anonymized and sent to the Outdoorvision service (a program by the Ministry of Sports). We encourage you to read the privacy policy of Outdoorvision at https://outdoorvision.fr/donnees-personnelles. To opt out of the Outdoorvision program, you must uncheck “Participate in the Outdoorvision program” in the app settings (accessible under “Profile” / “Settings”).

Device Data

This includes the name of your device and its operating system. The information collected may depend on the type of device you use and its settings.

2. Data Retention

We retain Personal Data for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as long as we have a legitimate business need, or as required by law (e.g., for tax, legal, accounting, or other purposes), with the longest applicable period being taken into account.

If you have chosen to receive marketing communications from us, we retain information about your marketing preferences until you opt out of receiving these communications, in accordance with our policies.
